The Adamant pickaxe is a pickaxe stronger than the Mithril pickaxe. It can be used in combat or in Mining to mine rocks. Players can make an Adamant pickaxe with the Smithing skill at level 75 by using 2 Adamant bars giving the player 125 smithing experience, after the completion of the quest Perils of Ice Mountain. Players can purchase this pickaxe from Nurmof's Pickaxe Shop in the Dwarven Mines, north of Falador, and Tati's Pickaxe-Is-Mine in Keldagrim. It is also a reward from Treasure Trails. To wield an Adamant pickaxe, you must have an Attack level of at least 40. To use an Adamant pickaxe for Mining, you must have a Mining level of 31.
The Adamant pickaxe can be gilded by the Liquid gold nymph after receiving the full Golden mining suit, creating the Gilded adamant pickaxe. It is cosmetic and gives no more bonuses than the regular pickaxe.
This pickaxe cannot be stored on a toolbelt.
