Black dragonhide body is black dragonhide armour worn in the body slot available to member rangers.
To wear black dragonhide body, a player must have 60 Defence. It is the third best dragonhide armour currently available (along with the blessed d'hide bodies), behind Third Age Ranged Armour and Royal dragonhide armour.
Members can create a black dragonhide body with the Crafting skill at level 84 from three black dragonleathers; creating one grants the player 258 Crafting experience.

- Before the Evolution of Combat, the black d'hide body had better defensive stats than the Karil's top in stab, slash, and crush, despite costing less, however it had inferior magic protection, which was the defensive stat people were looking for in ranged armour, and the required Ranged level to wear black d'hide body was 70.
