Pious Pete is a monk who was featured in the Candlelight random event. The event has been discontinued. The random event was taken out of the game along with Pious Pete years ago (according to a post on the RuneScape Forums by Mod Ash). This was not mentioned in an update but was instead removed quietly, without any mention.

The Maze reward isn't due to change at all. I think it'll be the only event that DOESN'T give you the gift box described in the newspost. Pious Pete got retired years ago, and hasn't been seen since. He's not due to come back. |

- When teleporting a player away to the random event, Pious Pete would say "I'm sorry to drag you away from your tasks, but I need a little help with something."
- Pious Pete was credited as getting together for a Wintumber party, along with his brothers Postie Pete and Party Pete.[1]
