Root cuttings are a stackable item collected from trees planted with the farming skill. They are used as payment for travelling via spirit trees.
Follow these steps to obtain Root cuttings.
- Plant any type of tree (Oak, Willow, Maple, etc.) in a tree patch.
- Once fully grown, chop down the tree.
- With the roots exposed, use a spade on the farming patch and hit yes.
- With the roots in your inventory, use a knife on them to obtain the root cuttings.
The higher the farming level required to plant the tree, the more root cuttings will be given from roots.
